“We all long for true community — a place of acceptance, value and belonging” explain the co-founders of ReStoreOKC, a community development ministry in Northeast Oklahoma City. ReStoreOKC partners with its neighbors to address their health and wellbeing, affordable and safe homes, education and jobs, economic and social justice, healing and reconciliation. Their vision to turn a food desert into a food destination with a neighborhood micro-grocery store (with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables from the ReStore Farms) inspired us to support this effort.
