Our Foundation is truly blessed to work with amazing nonprofit partners across New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. The foundation trustees recognized three of our grant partners for their exceptional creativity, innovation and leadership with the Foundation’s Exceptionalism Award – an unrestricted grant of $30,000 to each recipient: Any Baby Can in Austin, TX; Casa de Peregrinos in Las Cruces, NM; and The Arc of Oklahoma in Tulsa, OK. Operating an expansive network of 23 mobile and stationary food pantries, they ensure access to high-quality, nutritious food for thousands of residents. Their growth and success are underpinned by their ability to work effectively with local governmental agencies, leveraging these partnerships to expand their service capacity and impact. Their operational model exemplifies best practices in equitable distribution, setting a national standard for compassionate and effective emergency food programming.
